Today, I joined a group of Cali Couchsurfers to walk around downtown and learn a little history. In this photo, Vanessa Espinosa, talks to the group in front of the Capilla de la Immaculada next to la Iglesia de San Francisco. Vanessa shared her love of history and wealth of knowledge with us as we visited several sites. I’ll post more photos tomorrow.

Late this afternoon, I went to the Jardin Plaza mall to watch half of the Super Bowl. I left after the halftime show. I was rooting for the Packers and they were ahead. It seemed like more of the people were cheering for the Steelers. I don’t know why. When I got home, I followed the rest of the game and was glad the Packers prevailed.
