Dancing to the African beat
Eventually, Sandryta was up and out of her seat, dancing to the beat of the African music played by Amadou and Mariam of Mali. Keli is next to her, smiling. By the second half of the concert, most of the crowd were at least standing and most were moving to the beat.
I have now charged the batteries and put in the digital memory cards in the point and shoot cameras I brought to give to the school in Bocas del Palo. The teacher suggested that we go during the first week of December. There is a special school activity day and he thought that would be a good time to make the presentation. He said the kids don’t know about it. I was hoping it would be a complete surprise.
