The other day, I ran into my homeless friend, Jairo. We talked and he asked if I had my camera. He wanted a new photo of him taken with his new hat. Here’s the first frame I shot of about 10. It turns out it was the best.

Last Thursday, all my photos mounted on retablas were delivered to the library. On Friday, I picked up the printed captions for the photos at a printer downtown. Everything is now ready for next week when the Siloé photo exhibit opens. I also have two good friends, Xipa and Beatrice, that are helping me plan the refreshments for the opening. I’m thankful for my friends here.

  1. Hey that’s a better shot of Jairo than the other one on your blog. Enjoy your show in that impressive library building. Larry
