At the sendoff in downtown Cali for the 210 stranded indigenous Embera Katío people, I took several portraits. This was the face of an older woman. She looked like she may have had a hard life. She probably has a lot of stories that she could tell. This is one of several faces that has haunted me days later. After their long bus trip home to their homeland, I hope they find peace there and can live a good and normal life.
